About NAAC
The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) is an autonomous body established in 1994 by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India. Headquartered in Bengaluru, NAAC assesses and accredits higher education institutions across the country to ensure quality standards in education.
NAAC's assessment is based on seven key criteria and institutions are graded on a four-point CGPA scale. Accreditation by NAAC is a recognition of an institution's commitment to quality education, research, and governance.
Government Degree College, Hardatt Nagar is committed to quality education and is actively preparing for NAAC accreditation. Our Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) has been constituted to drive continuous improvement and ensure readiness for the assessment process.
